The data displays the number of hate crimes motivated by a person's sexual orientation in England and Wales from April 2015 to March 2017, sorted by offence type. The most hate crimes in which a person's disability was a motivational factor were recorded as violent offences, of which roughly a third led to the victim's injury. The second most common type of offence were public order offences, while the lowest number of hate crimes against disabled people were found to be criminal damage and arson.
