Violent hate crimes with injury in England and Wales, by motivation 2015-2017

This chart shows the number of hate crimes which involved violence and resulted in an injury of the victim in England and Wales from April 2015 to March 2017, sorted by motivational factor. The most hate crimes by a distance were found to be motivated by racial discrimination. The subsequent figures were recorded to be violent offences due to the sexual orientation of a victim.
