The data displays the number of violent racist offences which resulted in injury in Northern Ireland from 2004 to 2017. After an initial period of increase, the number of offences peaked in 2006/2007 at 178 offenses. Following this the number declined to 93 violent racist offences which resulted in injury in 2009/2010. Thereafter the number of offenses generally increased, reaching 142 violent offenses in 2015/2016.
