The data displays the share of adults in the U.S. who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender from 2012 to 2016. The results were sorted by generation. In 2012, 5.8% of Millennials stated they identify as LGBT, while in 2016, 7.3% of respondents from the same generation said the same.
