The data displays the opinion of Americans and Germans on the free trade agreement between the U.S. and the EU which is known as the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). In 2015, around 21% of Americans and 36% of Germans thought that TTIP would be a bad thing for their country. Out of those, 61% of Germans feared that TTIP would lower the food, environment and auto safety standards.
