The data displays devices used for reading online news in the U.S. in 2013 and 2018. The data shows that over a five year period, the share of U.S. consumers reading online news via a smartphone has doubled, whilst news consumption via computer or laptop has decreased, with just 54% of U.S. consumers accessing online news this way in 2018 compared to 71% who did so in 2013.
