The data displays the number of employees in the book industry in Finland in 2016, by sector. At the time of the survey, the Finnish book industry employed approx. 2.6 thousand people. 1.3 thousand worked in the publishing sector, while the retail sector reported 868 employees. In comparison, employee numbers in Finnish second-hand bookshops amounted to 82 people as of 2016.
