The data displays the results of a survey on the news sources used by consumers in selected European countries in 2017. During the period of consideration, it was found that TV and Online sources (including social media) were the most popular news sources in all given countries, and the penetration generally ranged between 70% and 80 percent, with the only exception of Germany, where the share of online sources use was 60%.
