The data displays the results of a survey on the daily usage of print media in EU 28 countries in 2017. Generally, 28% of European citizens read the written press on a daily basis, but the differences between countries were significant. During the survey period it was found, that the countries with the highest share of daily readers were Finland, at 64 percent, Sweden, at 57 percent, and Austria, at 55 percent, while the countries at the lower end of the ranking were Bulgaria and Romania.
