The data shows the share of organic crops of the total crop production in Finland from 2016 to 2017, by type. During this period, the organic production of mixed crops as well as peas and broad bean accounted for the biggest shares of the total production. In 2017, the lowest shares were accounted for by organic turnip rape and organic barley production. In Finland, cold winters limit crop production potential but decrease the need for pesticides. Due to rainfall during summer months, irrigation is needed only occasionally.
