The data displays the sales revenue of the music industry in Finland from 2010 to 2017. Music sales fluctuated throughout the period under survey, peaking at approx. 43 million euro in 2010. In 2014, the music sales dropped below 40 million euro, but got up again slightly, reaching 39.5 million euro in 2017.
The digitalization of the music industry is evident in Finland where digital music accounts for the majority of the music sales. Despite increased digital sales, music sales overall have remained nearly unchanged in recent years.
