Smart factory initiatives - share of manufacturing sub-sectors 2017

The data depicts the results of a survey conducted in selected countries among executive employees in the manufacturing sector between February and March 2017. In the survey, respondents were asked if their company was pursuing a smart factory initiative. The results were sorted by sub-sector. Some 50% of respondents from the automotive and transportation sector stated that their company had an ongoing smart factory initiative as of March 2017.
