Share of U.S. diners who ate prepared food bought from foodservice in store 2017

The data illustrates the results of a 2017 survey in which diners in the U.S. who had purchased food from the foodservice section of a grocery store in the past three months were asked if they had eaten the prepared food in the dining area of the store, broken down by demographic. According to the survey, 55% of diners with kids had reportedly bought prepared food from the grocery store and consumed it in the store.
