The data depicts the relation and key trends about meat consumption, vegetarianism and veganism in Italy in the year 2016. Over the period of consideration, the majority of the respondents (55%) admitted that they reduced their own consumption of meat over the years. However, even if small percentage of individuals stated to be either vegetarian (4%) or vegan (1%), 40% of the respondents did not change significantly their diets.
