The data shows the results of an online survey conducted in 2017. U.S. households of different income groups were asked how often they go grocery shopping in a store. The findings indicate that 44% of U.S. households with a household income of between 100,000 and 149,999 USD went grocery shopping two to three times a week. Households with an income of less than 20,000 USD tend to shop less frequently: 15% of this income group purchased grocery items once a month or less.
