The data displays the results of a survey on the attractiveness of organic food in Finland in 2017, by gender and age. The biggest share of respondents preferring organic food were females aged 15 to 34 and 65 to 79 years. Females were generally more likely to prefer or consider buying organic food than males. Males aged 50 to 64 years accounted for the biggest share that did not consider buying organic food. Overall, the attractiveness of organic food has increased in Finland over the recent years. According to the survey, more people preferred or considered buying organic produce in 2017, compared to the year 2015.
