The data displays the result of a survey on the reasons for buying organic food in Finland in 2015 and 2017. Whereas the most popular reason for buying organic food in Finland in 2015 was the lack of pesticides, additives and chemical substances, in 2017 the Finns valued the possibility to eat cleaner. Other important reasons to purchase organic food were health and better quality. Local produce was higher valued in 2017 than in 2015. In general, the attractiveness of organic food has increased in Finland and the consumption of organic produce is more regular than before.
