The data shows the share of individuals’ habitually consuming wine over the entire population in Italy between 2010 and 2016, broken down by gender. According to statistics, the portion of male population consuming wine every day was constantly higher throughout the period, compared to their female counterpart.
As a matter of fact, as of 2017, whilst the share of men consuming wine was 28.2 percent, women habitually consuming wine were only 10% of the entire population.
