Stop and searches performed in London 2017/18, by age group

The data displays the volume of stop and searches performed by the Metropolitan Police in London from May 2017 to April 2018, by age group. Although the youngest demographic of 10-14 is one of the least searched age groups, people aged 15-19 were searched 40,738 times in this time period, the most of any age bracket. The number of searches decreases with age after this, with only 5,303 searches performed on 40-44 year olds.
