Italy: repeaters in upper secondary schools 2014, by gender and region

The data displays the number of students who had to repeat a school year in upper secondary schools in Italy in 2014 by region and gender. Generally, the number of male students who had to repeat the year was higher compared to females in every region. In Campania, male students almost doubled the number of female students who had to repeat the year (almost 16.3 thousand boys against around nine thousand girls).
