Italy: employment status of education and training leavers 2014, by gender

The data displays the employment status of people aged 18 to 24 years who discontinued education and training in Italy in 2014. Out of a total of 386,000 male education leavers, the majority of them (143,000 people) was classified as employed. On the contrary, the majority of female education leavers (127,000 people) were classified as inactive, meaning they did not have a job, were not seeking work and/or were not available to start work in the next two weeks.
