Northern Ireland: rate of crimes against the person 2006-2016

The data displays the rate of crimes against the person per 10,000 population in Northern Ireland from 2006/2007 to 2015/2016. Despite fluctuations, there was an overall decrease of more than 50% during this ten year period. The peak was recorded in 2006/2007 at 670 incidents per 10,000 inhabitants. Last year marked the lowest point at 320 offences against the person recorded per 10,000 inhabitants.
