Preliminary results in the Turkish presidential election of 2018

The data shows the preliminary results of Turkey's presidential elections of 2018. As can be seen in the statistic, the incumbent President, Recep Erdoğan, won over 50% of the votes resulting in him winning another five-year term in office. The main opponent to Erdoğan, Muharrem İnce, won 30.64% of the votes and was most popular in western Turkey. Erdoğan's popularity is strongest in parts of northeast Turkey, particulary in Bayburt where he won 82.1% of the vote.
