Participation in voluntary activities in England 2018, by employment status

The data displays the share of the population who said they participated in voluntary activities at least once in the last twelve months in 2017/18, by employment status and type of volunteering. According to this survey, those who were not in employment were proportionally the most likely to volunteer informally, while those volunteering formally were most probable to be economically inactive.
