The data displays the Retail Price Index - Jevons (RPIJ) in the UK from January 2015 to January 2017. RPIJ is a consumer price inflation index introduced in March 2013 by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) and measures the change of prices for goods and services. During the surveyed time period, the RPIJ increased by roughly 2.5 percent, reaching an index score of 242.5 in January 2017. The peak was reported a month before in December 2016 at 244. By comparison, the Retail Price Index (RPI) saw a similar growth rate between January 2015 and December 2016, furthermore the Consumer Price Index (CPIH) also experienced substantial increases throughout recent years.
