The data displays the share of students enrolled in upper secondary schools in Italy for the academic year 2016 to 2017, by type of school and gender. As can be seen from the chart, the Music and Dance Lyceum - Dance and the Human Sciences Lyceum attracted mainly female students (both had only a small minority of male students). On the other hand, the Technological Institute and the Professional Institute for Industry and Handicraft had a majority of male students´ enrollment.
