Share of dioxin and dioxin-like compound waste releases in the United States in 2016, by sector

The data shows the distribution of dioxin and dioxin-like compound releases based on the sector among some 21,629 facilities in the U.S. in 2016. During this year, about 6% of dioxin and dioxin-like compounds released were from the hazardous waste management sector. Over 88 kilograms of dioxin and dioxin-like compounds were reported as released.
