EU referendum voter turnout 2016, by region

The data shows the UK's EU referendum voter turnout; the results are displayed as a percentage of the regional population that is eligible to vote. The South East of England had the greatest turnout of voters, at 76.8% of the local population. Followed by the South West at 0.1 percentage point less than that of The South East. The region with the lowest voter turnout was Northern Ireland at 62.7%.
