The data shows the number of valid votes from the EU referendum in the UK from June 23rd 2016, the results are shown by region. The eurosceptic South East of England had 4,959,683 valid votes despite the fact that here were 4,963,110 counted ballot papers ; this was the most politically active region in the whole of the United Kingdom, with almost 1,182,932 more valid votes cast than pro-EU London, which had the second highest amount. Northern Ireland had the fewest number, with 790,149 valid votes.
