Membership of political parties in the United Kingdom in 2018, by age group

The data shows the age distribution of members of the major political parties in the UK in 2018. People aged over 60 dominate almost every political party, with only the SNP and the Green Party having a more numerous age bracket. The UK Independence Party (UKIP) has the highest proportion of over 60s in it's membership ranks at 68%. The Green Party is the party that is best represented by it's younger members, with 35% of them being under the age of 39.
