The data displays the voting intention of Scottish people in the upcoming referendum on independence from the UK, by region. The referendum will take place on September 18, 2014. If the majority of voters say "yes", Scotland will become an independent nation. The "no" side found most support in the North East region of the country, with 49% of respondents aligning themselves in this way. The "yes" camp was strongest in the West. There were, however, a large proportion of people who were unsure at the time of survey.
