The data displays a distribution of respondents to a survey question in 2013 designed to find out how the Scottish would vote in the upcoming referendum on independence from the UK if there were to be no change either way to the standard of living in the country. There is a great deal of campaigning taking place on both sides of the independence argument. The Scottish National Party want a completely autonomous Scotland whilst the Conservative led UK government is fighting for the centuries old union to remain. Standard of living is an important point being discussed by both groups with claims being made which often contradict those of the opposition.
