Scottish independence: How would you vote if people would be financially worse off?

Would you be in favour or against independence if people were 500 GBP a year worse off on average?

The data displays a distribution of respondents to a survey question designed to find out how the Scottish would vote in the upcoming referendum on independence from the UK if people would, as a result, be 500 GBP a year worse off. There is a great deal of campaigning taking place on both sides of the independence argument. The Scottish National Party want a completely autonomous Scotland whilst the Conservative led UK government is fighting for the centuries old union to remain. Standard of living and the economy are important points being discussed by both groups with claims being made which often contradict those of the opposition.
