Scottish independence debate: Are ordinary people getting their say? 2013 survey

Do you agree or disagree that the independence debate is giving ordinary people a say in Scotland's future?

The data displays a distribution of respondents to a survey question designed to find out what those residing in Scotland think about the involvement of ordinary people in the debate about independence. In January 2013, the majority (55%) believed that such people were indeed being given a say in the often fervid debate around the upcoming referendum on Scottish independence in September 2014.
