Regional muslim population of the United Kingdom

The data displays the Muslim population of the UK at the time of 2011 Census, divided by region. A total of 1,012,823 people identified as Muslim in London at this time, making it the region with the highest overall number of Muslims. Large Muslim populations are also evident in the West Midlands, the North West and Yorkshire. Northern Ireland has the least Muslims living there overall with 3832 people.
