The data shows the 20 largest mosques in the UK in 2017, by dedicated prayer space capacity. In this year the biggest masjid was Al-Jamia Suffa-Tul Islam Grand Mosque in Bradford, with a capacity of 8,000 people. this was followed by Central Jamia Mosque Ghamkol Sharif in Birmingham and the Birmingham Central Mosque, which both have a capacity for 6,000 people. Of the largest masjids in the UK, four of them were located in Bradford.
