The data describes the number of paid attendances at performances by the National Theatre in the UK from the financial year 2010/11 to financial year 2015/16. Attendance figures at National Theatre performances more than doubled between 2011/12 and 2014/15. However in the following year 2015/16 attendance dropped to around 2.3 million.
