The data displays the average weekly expenditure of all household types on clothing and footwear in the UK in 2017, by place of purchase (large supermarket chains, clothing chains and other outlets). An average of 2.20 GBP a week were spent on clothing and footwear at large supermarket chains in 2017. There was also an average weekly expenditure of 8.10 GBP in clothing chains.
