The data displays the % of respondents who owned a smart TV or television that is connected to the internet, from the first quarter of 2011 to the fourth quarter of 2017. 10% of households in Great Britain had an internet TV in the first quarter of 2011, and 30% of households in Great Britain had a internet TV in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Similarly, smart TV penetration increased in the UK. In general, internet televisions are becoming a trend in the market, and this survey shows that their presence in households was steadily increasing throughout the years.
