The data displays the number of HD TV (high definition) accesses in households in the UK from the first quarter of 2010 to the first quarter of 2018. HD TV households experienced a significant increase since 2010. The increase was almost 40 million accesses over the given period. The number of accesses does not represent the number of HD TV sets in the household, but the number of members of the household that have access. With the exception of the third quarter of 2016, the number of individuals that had access to HD TV's increased quarterly between 2010 and 2018.
