PCs: global ASP forecast 2015-2019

The forecast shows a forecast of the average selling price (ASP) of personal computers (PCs) worldwide, from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, the average selling price of a PC is expected to sit at 629 USD. According to the source, the increase in cost is due, at least in part, to increasingly expensive components, such as memory and hard drives. While vendors are taking some of these price rises on themselves, consumers are expected to face some of the cost increase as well.
