The data displays the current and planned usage of various private cloud platform service vendors to run applications worldwide in 2018, according to a January 2018 survey conducted by RightScale. As of January 2018, 50% of respondents indicated that they were already running applications either on VMware's vSphere or vCenter private cloud services.
