The data shows the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of turnover in the life science sectors in the UK from 2011 to 2016, by sector. The life science sectors include a variety of industries such as medical technology, biopharmaceuticals, biomedical devises and biomedical technologies. During the five year period the medical technology service and supply sector displayed the highest growth rate at 10.9 percent, this was followed by the biopharmaceutical service and supply sector at 4.7%. The sector that experienced the lowest growth rate was the biopharmaceuticals sector at -4%.
