The data shows the smartphone penetration rate in the Netherlands from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, 88% of Dutch consumers aged 13 years and older owned a smartphone. In this same year, Samsung was the leading smartphone brand in the Netherlands with a market share of approx. 41 percent, followed by Apple. These two brands together took up almost 75% of the total market.
