Tonne-kilometres of freight transported in Italy 2006-2014

The data displays the total amount of freight transported annually in Italy by all inland modes of transport between 2006 and 2014, including freight trains, road transportation and inland shipping. An overall decline in the amount of freight transported can be observed over the time period shown. In 2009, around 182 billion tonne-kilometers of freight were transported within Italy.
