Road accidents by junction and vehicle type in the United Kingdom 2016

The data displays the number of vehicles of different types involved in road accidents at various junction types in Great Britain (GB) in 2016. Cars were involved in the most accidents at junctions which is unsurprising considering the dominance of the vehicles on the road. The most dangerous type of junction for all vehicles was the T or staggered junction. In 2016 7.3 thousand bicycles were involved in accidents at these junctions.
