Number of cars sold on the home market in the UK 2003-2017

This graph represents the number of UK produced cars sold within the UK home market between 2003 and 2017. There has been a general decline in home sales since 2003, however, this is not representative of overall production or sales, both of which have seen growth since 2009, especially in the export market. Between 2014 and 2015, home market sales of cars produced in the UK showed growth of 8.1%.
