Employment in the motor industry in the UK 2014, by region

The data displays the number of people employed in the motor industry across Great Britain in 2014. The West Midlands is the heart of the industry in the country and this region employs about half of the national total thanks to the presence of several major automotive factories, including assembly plants for Land Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Morgan and MG motors as well as various other part production locations and research and development offices.
