The figures are seasonally adjusted estimates, measured using the Retail Sales Index (RSI) and published in index form with a reference year of 2013 equal to 100. In December 2017, sales increased significantly to an index level of 127.4. In the following two months, the sales index fell again, measuring at 84.6 in February 2018.
