Number of nights in short-stay accommodation in the European Union 2006-2015

The data shows the annual number of overnight stays in travel accommodation in the the European Union (28 countries) from 2006 to 2015. An estimated 2.78 billion nights were spent in travel accommodation (all types) in the European Union in 2015. According to the data for overnight stays by residents and non-residents in the EU, the number nights spent by EU residents were higher than non-residents.
